AI infrastructure, data centres and software cost cuts shaped a busy week for ASX technology investors.

Connexion Mobility Ltd reported a 10% revenue increase to US$12.3 million for FY26, driven by its software platform expansion and the acquisition of Hallam Road Automotive. Profit after tax dipped slightly by 1%, while the company continued aggressive share buybacks to enhance shareholder value.

Takeovers, mine studies and record quarterly updates drove the week, with buyers chasing companies that put hard numbers around cash flow, reserves and contract wins. Losses were just as sharp where traders sold into reopenings or questioned whether fresh capital and non-binding deals would turn into profits.

Nanoveu led the week after live drone trials, while Gratifii slumped on deal changes and X2M dropped after a discounted capital raising. Across the tech board, buyers backed real revenue, cash receipts and contract wins, but punished dilution, legal noise and weak post-gap trading.

Connexion Mobility Ltd delivered a standout Q4 FY26 with 12% revenue growth to $3.4 million and an 83% jump in net profit before tax, fuelled by software subscription gains, GM Canada’s Enhanced Exposure Program, and the strategic acquisition of Hallam Road Automotive.

Battery tech, biotech and balance-sheet repair drove the biggest gains this week, while guidance cuts and weak post-halt trading hurt several names. Deal-making and fresh equity funding stayed busy, especially in rare earths, defence and gold.

Connexion Mobility Ltd has agreed to acquire Hallam Road Automotive in a A$5 million deal expected to immediately lift earnings per share by up to 35% and reduce exposure to foreign exchange fluctuations.

Small-cap tech money chased clear revenue stories, AI products and contract wins this week. The biggest moves came from Xref and ION Video, while BluGlass fell after tapping investors for fresh cash.

Connexion Mobility reported a record $3 million quarterly revenue, boosted by exclusive software deployment for GM Canada’s Enhanced Exposure Program, while net profit before tax fell 31% due to higher expenses.

Big moves came from disclosure drama, CEO change news, and one standout software upgrade. While several stocks jumped on results, a few gaps couldn’t hold as traders sold into early strength.

Connexion Mobility Ltd reported a 7% rise in revenues and a 5% increase in profit after tax for the half-year ended December 2025, while expanding its SaaS footprint and acquiring a strategic stake in Covertrue Group.

Connexion Mobility has secured a key contract to supply its OnTRAC software platform for General Motors Canada’s nationwide rollout of the Enhanced Exposure Program, modernising dealership vehicle management.
