Forrestania Resources has lifted the higher-confidence portion of its Lady Ada and Lady Magdalene gold resource by 43%, even as total contained ounces fall 4% to 285,700 ounces. The update strengthens the development case, but most of the resource remains Inferred and the tenements are subject to ongoing legal proceedings.

Exploration news drove the biggest share-price moves, while project funding remained the key test for developers across gold, copper, rare earths and energy. Forrestania Resources has secured a framework to purchase and process up to 2 million tonnes of third-party ore while locking in key laboratory, haulage and reagent arrangements for its Lake Johnston and Edna May hubs. The agreements strengthen restart preparation, although financial terms, margins and delivery timing remain undisclosed.

Forrestania Resources has vaulted into a new league with a global gold resource exceeding 2 million ounces following its acquisition of the Edna May Gold Project, which brings significant processing infrastructure and development potential.
