Pan African Resources has completed the issuance of over 102 million new shares to Emmerson shareholders, marking the formal close of its acquisition via a scheme of arrangement.

Pan African Resources has issued over 102 million new shares as part of the settlement for its acquisition of Emmerson, increasing its total issued shares to more than 2.4 billion ahead of trading commencing on 1 July 2026.

Big moves came from small and mid-cap names tied to drilling, project studies and fresh funding. Healthcare, mining and takeover stocks all had a busy week, but not every strong announcement held its gains.

Pan African Resources PLC has delivered a 5.6% increase in gold production to 196,527 ounces for FY25, alongside a 60.5% jump in adjusted EBITDA to US$226.6 million. The group’s strategic acquisition of Tennant Mines in Australia and the early commissioning of the Mogale Tailings Retreatment operation mark significant milestones in its growth trajectory, underpinned by a robust sustainability and governance framework.
