Prairie Lithium has begun construction on its Pad #1 lithium extraction facility in Saskatchewan, aiming to deploy the continent’s largest Direct Lithium Extraction system. With foundation work set to finish by January 2026, the company is advancing toward commercial production amid growing global demand.

Prairie Lithium has fast-tracked its flagship Saskatchewan lithium project by initiating fabrication of a commercial-scale extraction unit and securing vital rail access, supported by a US$5 million non-dilutive capital raise and a promising offtake agreement.

Prairie Lithium has signed a non-binding agreement to supply 6,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate equivalent annually to Stardust Power’s Oklahoma refinery, reinforcing North America’s lithium supply chain.
