Amcor keeps volume growth on track despite a lower earnings outlook

Amcor cuts earnings outlook as energy and distribution costs erode momentum

Amcor has lowered its six-month adjusted earnings outlook after higher energy and distribution costs offset volume growth and Berry acquisition synergies. Sales rose 7%, but adjusted EBITDA slipped, free cash flow deteriorated sharply and net debt increased.
