Avantis Global Equity Active ETF delivered a 15.15% net return in its first reported period, beating the MSCI World IMI Index by 4.51 percentage points. The ASX-listed fund closed the period with $8.15 million in net assets, almost all invested in its underlying Avantis global equity ETF.

Avantis Global Small Cap Value Active ETF delivered a 19.59% net return in its first reported period, comfortably ahead of its MSCI World Small Cap Value Index benchmark. The newly ASX-quoted fund finished with $19.687 million in net assets, but paid no distribution and offers no comparative year.

Avantis Emerging Markets Equity Active ETF delivered a A$2.001 million audited profit in its first reporting period, with A$14.598 million in net assets at 30 June 2026. Its 20.29% return was positive, but fell 3.03 percentage points short of the MSCI Emerging Markets IMI Index.

The Colonial Motor Company (NZX:CMO) increased shareholder profit, lifted its annual dividend and sharply reduced borrowings and inventory in 2026. The New Zealand automotive group is entering a more difficult trading period, however, with price pressure, new-brand competition and a chair transition ahead.

Fitzroy River has agreed to sell its long-held Bowdens Silver royalty to Silver Mines for A$17.5 million, including A$7.5 million in Silver Mines shares. The company intends to return the net proceeds to shareholders, but completion remains conditional on funding and regulatory steps.

Waterco Limited (ASX:WAT) delivered record FY26 EBIT of $23.8 million and lifted net profit after tax 59.6% to $15.4 million, despite only modest revenue growth. The stronger result supports a higher fully franked dividend, but the group is carrying more debt and inventory as it expands manufacturing capacity.

X2M Connect has signed a non-binding two-year MOU with Gateway DC covering data centre development, delivery and platform deployment across Australia and potentially Southeast Asia. The opportunity links Gateway’s planned 120MW-to-2GW-plus Darwin roadmap with X2M’s prospective pipeline exceeding 200MW, but revenue remains subject to future binding agreements.

Jade Gas will use targeted 2D and 3D seismic to test whether its established coal-measure gas system extends into deeper CBM, shale gas and tight sandstone horizons in Mongolia. The exploration could expand TTCBM’s longer-term potential, but the company says commercialising existing resources remains the immediate priority.
