Big River Industries delivered a stronger FY26 despite subdued residential construction, lifting underlying EBITDA 8.4% and reducing gearing after its Johns Building Supplies acquisition. The company is targeting double-digit underlying EBITDA growth in FY27, while its strategic options review remains unresolved.

Argo Global Listed Infrastructure Limited (ASX:ALI) delivered a 19.2% share price return and record fully franked dividends in FY2026, while assets passed $500 million after a $25 million Share Purchase Plan. Sonic Healthcare delivered a strong FY2026, with underlying net profit up 17% to A$621 million and dividends rising to A$1.08 per share. The next test is whether US efficiencies, LADR synergies and organic growth can offset Swiss fee cuts, a delayed UK contract ramp-up and heavier investment demands.

Nick Scali delivered a sharp recovery in FY26 earnings, with net profit rising 31.2% to $75.7 million as gross margins widened and the UK loss narrowed. The furniture retailer is entering FY27 with a larger showroom network, a new distribution centre and four further ANZ openings planned.
