Liberty Metals’ maiden rock chip program at Oko North has returned four samples above 1 g/t gold, including a peak assay of 2.322 g/t. The reconnaissance results support the company’s interpretation that historical alluvial gold may be sourced from hard rock within its Guyana tenure, but drilling is still required to test continuity and scale.

Lightning Minerals says reconnaissance sampling has expanded the Warby Project’s interpreted tungsten system well beyond its World War I-era workings, with rock chips grading up to 5.5% tungsten. Great Northern Minerals has identified at least three undrilled chargeability anomalies at its Douglas Creek project in North Queensland, supported by gold, copper, silver and bismuth surface results. The targets sit around a large reverse-polarised magnetic tonalite body that extends to an interpreted depth of about 1 kilometre, but drilling is not expected until mid-2027.
