Catalina Resources has executed the mining lease transfer for its Nelson Bay River project, paving the way for up to $1.29 million in rehabilitation security to be recovered. The company plans to redirect the capital into November drilling at its Kirkalocka gold and Tallering tungsten projects, subject to final heritage clearance and regulatory steps.

West Coast Silver has added a 70%-owned prospect immediately west of its Elizabeth Hill silver mine, with historical results pointing to silver, copper, nickel and palladium potential. The targets remain early-stage: the company plans data review, fieldwork and geophysics before deciding whether to drill.

Killi Resources has intersected a 50-metre zone of visually estimated crystalline magnetite 600 metres south of Lodestone’s existing 110Mt inferred resource. The result also identified a separate 16-metre hanging-wall zone, but assays and metallurgical testing are still pending.

BOA Resources has returned high-grade copper intersections from all six initial RC holes at Ricci Lee, including 14 metres at 2.49% copper and 15 metres at 2.25%. Assays from 40 further RC holes and 92 aircore holes across five other prospects remain pending.

Tolu Minerals has more than doubled its reported gold resources to 1.33 million ounces after declaring a maiden 293,000-ounce resource at Mt Penck in Papua New Guinea. The project also carries a largely untested copper-gold porphyry target, but its proposed A$30 million exploration program still requires separate funding.

Liberty Metals’ maiden rock chip program at Oko North has returned four samples above 1 g/t gold, including a peak assay of 2.322 g/t. The reconnaissance results support the company’s interpretation that historical alluvial gold may be sourced from hard rock within its Guyana tenure, but drilling is still required to test continuity and scale.

Megado Minerals has returned a shallow copper-silver intersection from the first hole of its maiden drilling campaign in northern Spain, including 0.25 metres at 1.39% copper and 18g/t silver. Two further holes have been completed but remain unassayed, leaving the broader size and continuity of the mineralisation unresolved.

BPM Minerals has begun its first-ever drilling at the 6km Bonnie and Clyde gold-in-soil anomaly in Western Australia, launching a 10,000-metre campaign targeting possible Tropicana-style mineralisation. The exploration upside remains untested, with assays from Bonnie and Clyde and Beachcomber expected from late 2026 into early 2027.

Great Boulder Resources has used FY2026 to make the leap from gold explorer toward producer, acquiring Peak Hill and securing a 481,000-ounce resource alongside its 1.02 million-ounce Side Well project. The strategic shift came with a A$9.93 million loss, a heavily expanded share count and a clear near-term test: whether 40,000 metres of drilling can support development by late 2027.

Bellavista Resources is advancing a 15,000-metre drilling campaign and early development studies at Pickle Crow, while assay results have been pushed into October after Canadian laboratory delays. At Brumby, continuity drilling is complete and CSIRO column leach testwork is being prepared.

Neu Horizon has completed the main phase of its Swedish uranium exploration campaign, collecting more than 12,000 line kilometres of airborne geophysical data across its portfolio. The company is now integrating the results and refining targets for a maiden drilling programme planned for early 2027, subject to permitting.

FireFly Metals has turned a year of aggressive drilling into a substantially larger, higher-confidence Green Bay resource, backed by an August PEA and fresh funding. The next test is execution: feasibility, permits, construction decisions and the capital required to build a mine.
