Central Petroleum will put PV14 into production despite an initial 3.2 TJ/d flow test that fell below its target and recent Palm Valley wells. Water seen during vacuum flow leaves the well’s sustainable output uncertain as attention shifts to PV15.

Southern Cross Gold has accelerated drilling and underground development at Sunday Creek, spending $32.9 million during the August quarter while cash fell to C$84.0 million. The company remains aimed at a maiden mineral resource in the first quarter of 2027, but poor ground conditions have pushed exploration decline completion back by a month.

Corazon Mining has returned broad gold intercepts from the first two holes of its Chalice drilling campaign, including 4 metres at 9.93 g/t gold. The results offer an early test of extensions south of the historical pit, with most assays still pending.

Forrestania Resources has outlined a maiden 223,300-ounce JORC Mineral Resource at Tampia, a previously mined deposit positioned 140km from the Edna May processing plant. The estimate gives the newly acquired Westonia Hub another potential ore source, but relies on an AUD 6,000/oz gold price assumption and includes 104,800 ounces classified as Inferred.

Burley Minerals has confirmed shallow Channel Iron Deposit mineralisation across the North and Step-Out Targets at its Cane Bore project, with assays averaging 50.6% Fe across reported intersections. The mineralisation remains open northeast and southwest, but further drilling, metallurgy and approvals are still required before any resource can be defined.
