Osmond Resources has secured the maximum €250,000 provisional grant in the first round of Spain’s national mineral exploration program, while preparing to start a 13-hole campaign at its Orión project. The company has also issued 85 million shares to retain its 80% interest in the project-owning vehicle.

Brightstar Resources has delivered broad and high-grade gold intercepts from final infill drilling at Bull Oak, including 167 metres at 2.07g/t gold and a 0.5-metre zone grading 265g/t. The results are intended to support an updated Mineral Resource and the Sandstone project’s pre-feasibility study, although neither has yet been released.

Gold Mountain has secured a 12-month exclusive right to acquire the historical Malhada do Angico tungsten mine in northeast Brazil, for staged consideration of up to R$3 million. Xpedra Resources has made Springfield the centrepiece of a sharp shift into New South Wales gold exploration, with drilling outlining broad mineralisation across 400 metres of strike and to at least 150 metres down-dip. The results came alongside a $7.53 million annual loss, $3.09 million in cash and a fresh 44 million-share acquisition of the Neeld Gold Project.

Somerset Minerals reported a $2.17 million statutory profit for 2026, but the result was driven mainly by a gain on divesting its Blackdome-Elizabeth subsidiaries rather than recurring operations. The company’s Coppermine copper campaign delivered strong Jura and Talisker drilling results while its auditor warned that further funding is needed to sustain exploration.

Barkly Rare Earths has entered its first full year as an ASX-listed explorer with A$5.38 million in cash, a 10,000-metre drilling programme underway and an early 99% magnet rare earth oxide extraction result. The technical signals are encouraging, but both the drilling data and metallurgy remain at an early stage.
