Magnum Mining has completed a 10,000-metre auger programme at its Piracanjuba North ionic adsorption clay rare earths project in Brazil, shifting its focus to a 32.5km² plateau zone. The company is targeting a maiden JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate in November, but the project remains at an early exploration stage with no declared resource or reserve.

Canterbury Resources has reported a broad copper-molybdenum intercept at Briggs while early core observations suggest its John Hill deposit may extend beyond the current resource boundary. The results support ongoing resource upgrades and feasibility work, but John Hill assays are still pending.

Waratah Minerals has reported its strongest drilling result to date at the Spur Gold Discovery, with a deep hole returning 46 metres at 7.27 g/t gold. The result extends the Consols Zone and supports four high-grade footwall domains, although the project remains at an early exploration stage.

The exploration could expand TTCBM’s longer-term potential, but the company says commercialising existing resources remains the immediate priority.

Tambourah Metals has tightened drilling across its Tambourah King gold lode, returning several encouraging intersections ahead of a planned maiden resource estimate. Shallow results at Western Chief add a second exploration thread, although the system remains lightly tested at depth.
