Ionic Rare Earths is pushing toward commercial magnet recycling in Belfast and the United States, but its FY2026 report flags a material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern. The company reported a larger A$14.9 million loss and A$13.9 million in operating cash outflows, despite government support and new strategic partnerships.

Latrobe Magnesium has received a non-binding US$15 million Letter of Support from a confidential US financial institution for the feasibility study on its proposed 50 ktpa South Carolina magnesium plant. The funding remains conditional on matching finance, due diligence, approvals and definitive agreements.

Element has withdrawn, while the three remaining bidders receive further due diligence access, although no binding deal is assured.

EQT Infrastructure says its due diligence has not uncovered an issue likely to derail its proposed acquisition of Cleanaway, and it will not reduce the indicative offer terms. But the exclusivity period has ended without a binding implementation deed, leaving the transaction unfinished.
