Cauldron Energy has told the ASX it knows of no undisclosed information behind a sharp fall in its share price and a surge in trading activity. The company has pointed instead to a possible Betashares Global Uranium ETF rebalance, while stressing that explanation remains unconfirmed.

Russell Investments Sustainable Global Opportunities Fund reported a sharp lift in annual operating profit and net assets, with its Class RGOS ETF delivering a 14.62% total return. Distributions also increased, although the fund remains closely exposed to international equity markets and currency movements.

Russell Investments Australian Responsible Investment ETF (ASX:RAR) reported a $304,000 loss for the year ended 30 June 2026, reversing a $69.892 million profit a year earlier. The fund still delivered a reported total return of 0.05% and lifted distributions to 168.11 cents per unit.

Quay Global’s unhedged real estate fund swung from a $66.1 million operating profit to a $22.9 million loss in 2026, while its AUD hedged counterpart posted a $23.0 million profit. Both funds also recorded substantial redemptions after launching Active ETF classes.

Quay Global’s two real estate funds delivered sharply different FY2026 results, with the unhedged fund swinging to a $22.852 million operating loss while the AUD Hedged fund recorded a $22.991 million profit. The year also brought large ETF redemptions, new currency-hedging disclosures and a major reset of Bennelong’s board after year-end.

GCQ Flagship Fund recorded a $449.8 million loss before finance costs for the year ended 30 June 2026, as its main ETF class fell 22.8% after fees. Net assets still climbed to $1.607 billion, supported by substantial unit-holder applications, while the newly listed hedged ETF also finished below its launch price.

Ellerston Asia Growth Fund Complex ETF (ASX: EAFZ) returned 38.4% after fees for the year ended 30 June 2026, beating its Asian equities benchmark by 2.6 percentage points. Profit more than doubled to $12.49 million, although the result was driven chiefly by investment revaluations and came alongside continued net redemptions.

GCQ Flagship Fund recorded a $449.8 million loss before finance costs after a sharp fall in the value of its global equity portfolio. The fund’s established classes declined between 17.6% and 22.8% net, despite net assets rising to $1.61 billion on strong investor applications.

Hejaz High Income Active ETF delivered a 3.74% net return for the year, well below its reported 13.93% benchmark return. Net assets rose sharply to $9.64 million, but the increase was driven mainly by new applications rather than investment performance.

Coolabah Active Global Bond Fund delivered net returns of up to 6.20% in the year to 30 June 2026, ahead of its global bond benchmark. The fund also added an ASX-traded ETF class shortly before year-end, while using repurchase agreements and derivatives as part of its strategy.

Macquarie Global Small Companies Fund reported a A$561,000 operating profit in its first financial period after launching three unit classes in June. The fund ended the period with A$11.757 million in net assets, although its short start-up period offers little basis for judging full-year performance.

Macquarie Global Yield Maximiser Fund delivered a 48.6% increase in operating profit and more than doubled net assets to A$340.7 million in the year to 30 June 2026. The expansion came alongside sharply higher distributions, although the portfolio’s larger exposure to debt securities leaves interest rates and credit spreads central to the next phase.
