Bass Oil’s Bunian 6 well has confirmed oil in a previously unproduced zone, with the company targeting a potential threefold increase in Tangai-Sukananti field production. August sales also improved as Cooper Basin exports resumed, while Vanessa and Kiwi advanced toward future gas development.

Bass Oil has put a 1,280-barrel-per-day Bunian 6 test and planned Vanessa gas sales at the centre of its next growth phase. The company is also promoting Kiwi as a larger, longer-dated development opportunity, although much of the upside remains subject to testing, funding and execution.

Bass Oil has returned to profit for the first half of 2026, with EBITDA rising 80% and cash reserves strengthening while the company remains debt-free.
