North Stawell Minerals has expanded and refined its Darlington-Caledonia exploration targets, including a post-year-end intercept of 0.4 metres at 17.1 g/t gold. But the gold explorer ended FY2026 with $701,960 in cash, a deeper loss and an auditor warning that further funding is needed to sustain operations.

PLC Resources has repositioned around Western Australian gold and copper exploration, securing a maiden 13,000-ounce Inferred Resource at Wadgingarra and full ownership of Yalgoo. But the FY2026 annual report also carries a material uncertainty related to going concern, leaving future exploration dependent on additional funding and exploration success.

Castle Minerals has identified six ranked gold targets across its 212km² Nielle project in Côte d’Ivoire, including previously unreported intercepts of up to 8m at 3.65g/t gold from surface. The company is preparing an Exploration Target for the historically drilled zone while planning new drilling, subject to the permit being granted.

Lightning Minerals has started a 262-sample Phase 3 soil program at its Warby Tungsten Project in North Queensland, with the first 162 samples already at the laboratory. Results expected in October will help determine whether open tungsten anomalies are ready to support maiden drilling.

Gold Mountain has extended reconnaissance rare earth mineralisation at its Down Under Project in Brazil to at least 13 kilometres west of the Irajuba Exploration Target. The strongest result was 10 metres at 2,145 ppm TREO, including 2 metres at 4,607 ppm, but the data remains preliminary and metallurgical recovery is still untested.
