Mamba Exploration has secured a $6.0 million placement, attracted a $500,000 investment from New Murchison Gold and added former Westgold founder Peter Cook as a strategic adviser. The funding will support drilling at Meeka East and a staged earn-in over the early-stage Poison Hills project, where selective rock chips returned high silver, gold, copper and lead grades.

Nordic Resources has recorded gold recoveries of up to 90% and copper recoveries of up to 91% at its Kopsa gold-copper project in Finland using a conventional processing route. The results will feed into an updated resource estimate expected in October, while a new 12,000-metre drilling program is already under way.
