Australian Mines has appointed a specialist consultant team to complete the pre-feasibility study for its Flemington Scandium Project, targeting delivery in the first quarter of 2027. The study will retain a 60-tonne-per-year scandium oxide reference case while testing production scenarios of up to 180 tonnes per year.

American Rare Earths has reported broad, near-surface rare earth mineralisation from the first six holes of its 2026 feasibility drilling program in Wyoming. The results are encouraging for geological continuity, but they cover only part of the program and do not yet represent a new resource estimate.

Pursuit Minerals has started its first diamond hole at the Demasía tenement, testing whether lithium-bearing brines extend beyond the existing 1.264 million tonne LCE resource at Rio Grande Sur. Early packer tests recovered brine at shallow depths, but lithium assays are still pending.

The progress comes with an auditor-highlighted going-concern uncertainty as the company prepares for further exploration and development spending.

Carnavale Resources is approaching the final stretch of its bankable feasibility study for the 80%-owned Kookynie Gold Project, backed by a 120,000-ounce resource and strong metallurgical recoveries. The project still requires financing, a toll-treatment agreement and final economic modelling before it can move from promising study to mine development.

CZR Resources has expanded its exploration case at Croydon, with shallow gold at Frank’s Patch and Baskerville complemented by deeper mineralisation at Top Camp. The company has also lodged a mining lease application for its Buddadoo vanadium-titanium-magnetite project.

Deep Yellow reported a A$13.3 million FY2026 profit and moved its Tumas uranium project closer to a targeted fourth-quarter investment decision. The company remains debt free, but acknowledges it will need external capital to fund construction.

Encounter Resources has identified a shallow, high-grade niobium zone at Joyce, 6 kilometres east of its Green deposit, with drilling ending in mineralisation. Assays from surrounding holes are due in October and will determine whether the zone has meaningful lateral continuity.

Tivan has secured the regulatory and cultural heritage clearances needed to advance an 8,000-metre drilling campaign at its Molyhil tungsten project in the Northern Territory. The company will also issue 3.84 million shares as part-payment for the project acquisition, while its feasibility and proposed funding plans remain unfinished.
