HiTech Group Australia delivered a weaker FY2026 profit and lower revenue, but finished with $10.56 million in cash and no debt before completing its Hudson acquisition. The post-year-end deal and $4 million institutional raise now place execution, funding and integration at the centre of the story.

Pure One Corporation Limited (ASX:P1E) reported FY26 net profit after tax of A$5.070 million, alongside A$7.191 million in cash and term deposits. The company is positioning battery-swappable heavy vehicles and electric vans as its growth engine, while retaining sizeable interests in gas and clean-energy ventures.

1414 Degrees reported a wider FY2026 loss, falling cash reserves and a material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern. The company is nevertheless pressing ahead with SiNTL battery commercialisation, a proposed 1 GW data centre precinct and full ownership of Aurora.

Minerals 260 has emerged from FY26 with a 6.2Moz Bullabulling resource, a maiden 2.5Moz reserve and a pre-feasibility study pointing to a 19-year gold operation. The project is now moving into definitive feasibility, but debt funding, approvals and a final investment decision remain ahead.

APA Group will invest approximately $1.015 billion for an 80% stake in a new 400MW gas peaking plant in Queensland, backed by a 25-year inflation-linked hedge with CS Energy. The Brigalow project is targeted for completion in early 2029 and expands APA’s contracted power generation portfolio.

Iperion reported a lower loss for the year ended 31 March 2026, but its cash reserves and net assets fell sharply, leaving the NZX-listed materials company reliant on related-party funding and director support. American Rare Earths has expanded the proposed Cowboy State Mine in Wyoming to a 4.5 million tonne per year operation with a 26-year mine plan and an estimated after-tax NPV of US$1.07 billion. The stronger study case comes with higher capital, lower recoveries and no Ore Reserves, leaving metallurgy, permitting and funding as the next tests.

Atlas Arteria has warned that France may more than double the tax rate applied to eligible toll-road operators, with APRR’s 2025 TEILD bill already reaching €126.7 million. The proposed changes remain subject to parliamentary debate and could be softened before becoming law.
