GCQ Flagship Fund recorded a $449.8 million loss before finance costs for the year ended 30 June 2026, as its main ETF class fell 22.8% after fees. Net assets still climbed to $1.607 billion, supported by substantial unit-holder applications, while the newly listed hedged ETF also finished below its launch price.

GCQ Flagship Fund recorded a $449.8 million loss before finance costs after a sharp fall in the value of its global equity portfolio. The fund’s established classes declined between 17.6% and 22.8% net, despite net assets rising to $1.61 billion on strong investor applications.

Hejaz High Income Active ETF delivered a 3.74% net return for the year, well below its reported 13.93% benchmark return. Net assets rose sharply to $9.64 million, but the increase was driven mainly by new applications rather than investment performance.

Macquarie Global Yield Maximiser Fund delivered a 48.6% increase in operating profit and more than doubled net assets to A$340.7 million in the year to 30 June 2026. The expansion came alongside sharply higher distributions, although the portfolio’s larger exposure to debt securities leaves interest rates and credit spreads central to the next phase.

Macquarie Core Australian Equity Active ETF more than doubled its net assets to $1.138 billion in the year to 30 June 2026, powered by $676.067 million of new applications. Profit rose 50% to $33.876 million, while distributions increased to 30.93 cents per unit.

Walter Scott Global Equity Fund’s operating profit fell to A$4.1 million in 2026 from A$349.5 million, while net assets dropped by about A$1.1 billion. The audited report points to weaker investment gains and substantial redemptions, although the fund remained fully invested in quoted equities and received an unmodified audit opinion.

Macquarie Core Global Equity Fund (ASX:MQE) reported a sharp rise in FY2026 operating profit as net assets more than tripled and the portfolio expanded. The result reflects both substantial new applications and investment gains, rather than investment performance alone.

Benjamin Hornigold Limited (ASX:BHD) delivered a 9.93% portfolio return in FY2026 but still posted a $420,931 loss after $565,697 in legal fees. Two settlements worth $2.6 million were received after year-end, while an $8.97 million judgment against JB Markets was assigned no value.

Ausbil Global SmallCap Fund reported A$19.38 million in total comprehensive income for the year ended 30 June 2026, up from A$14.67 million. Net assets rose to A$133.75 million while the fund’s management fee was reduced from 1.20% to 0.90% per annum during the year.

Global X Copper Miners ETF delivered a sharp rise in annual profit as copper-mining equities lifted fair values and investor applications accelerated. The result was dominated by market gains rather than recurring income, leaving the fund highly exposed to further moves in copper shares and currencies.

Global X Semiconductor ETF reported an AUD 688.687 million profit for the year to 30 June 2026, driven overwhelmingly by fair value gains on semiconductor equities. The strong result was followed by a more than 10% decline in net asset value after year-end, highlighting the volatility behind the headline number.

VanEck’s 13 ASX-listed ETFs produced sharply divergent FY2026 results, led by a $1.002 billion profit for Global Infrastructure and a $321.5 million gain for Gold Miners. Video Gaming and Esports moved the other way, reporting a $21.5 million loss, while International Wide Moat was subsequently overhauled and renamed.
