The Australian Takeovers Panel has declared unacceptable circumstances in A2MP Investments’ lapsed A$0.05-a-share takeover bid for Canyon Resources, citing inadequate disclosure, the use of confidential information and potential coercion of shareholders. Final orders remain undecided.

Centaurus Metals has secured binding five-year offtake agreements with Glencore and CNGR covering all forecast Jaguar nickel concentrate production during the project’s first five years. The two groups will also invest a combined US$40 million, although part of that funding remains conditional on regulatory, shareholder and project-development milestones.
