Maritana Minerals has secured the final statutory approval for its 2.5Mtpa Black Swan Processing Hub in Western Australia and extended early works with GR Engineering Services for an additional A$6.5 million. The project remains aimed at first gold in the second half of calendar 2027, although the EPC contract is still being finalised.

Tolu Minerals has set out a Q1 2027 restart target for its Tolukuma gold-silver mine in Papua New Guinea, backed by a recently upgraded 909,000-ounce resource and refurbishment of an existing processing plant. The company says it has sufficient funding to reach production, but the timetable remains dependent on mine development, plant work and operating execution.

Native Mineral Resources has produced 313.6oz of gross doré in its latest Blackjack smelt, with preliminary laboratory assays indicating about 157.4oz of contained gold. Mining is scheduled to resume at Mid Pit and Podosky as the company prepares for final refinery results and North Pit drilling updates.

Broken Hill Gold has won tenders for two South Australian exploration licences covering 751 square kilometres, doubling its regional tenure near White Dam to more than 1,500 square kilometres. The ground includes the historically productive Manna Hill and Waukaringa goldfields, but still requires formal grant, permitting and modern drilling before its potential can be tested.

Maritana Minerals has extended gold mineralisation beneath the planned Pit 4 floor at Boorara, with drilling still open at depth. The results could feed a larger resource and revised pit design, although assays, estimation and optimisation work remain ahead of a targeted mid-2027 restart.

Altoro Metals says underground drilling has expanded the apparent width of the Emilia zinc mineralised system beyond 100 metres, although assays from nine holes are still pending. The company is combining four historical workings into one Novales Project as it prepares further drilling, a resource upgrade and mine restart documents.

Auric Mining has reported a 4-metre intersection grading 10.49 grams per tonne gold west of its planned Munda open pit, alongside a series of high-grade near-surface results inside the Stage 2 design. The results arrive as pit engineering and Ore Reserve work move towards an expected October release ahead of a planned 2027 mining restart.

Tanami Gold has entered FY27 with funding in place for a 3,500-metre underground decline at Groundrush, after raising $70.5 million and reporting a 2.8 million ounce Central Tanami resource. The project remains in the study and resource-definition phase, with no Ore Reserve or production decision yet disclosed.

Tolu Minerals has increased the Tolukuma gold resource by 81% to 909,000 ounces after four months of full-scale drilling, pushing its reported Papua New Guinea gold inventory above one million ounces. The proposed early 2027 restart now has a larger resource base, but remains dependent on infrastructure, technical work and conversion of resources into mineable reserves.

Polymetals Resources moved its Endeavor silver-zinc-lead mine from restart to commercial production in FY2026, generating A$100.0 million in revenue. The milestone came alongside a A$47.0 million loss, negative operating cash flow and an auditor warning over going-concern uncertainty.
