Stavely Minerals has outlined a potentially valuable 13-year copper-gold-silver project, but its latest annual report makes clear that funding remains the immediate constraint. The company ended June with A$3.1 million in cash and an auditor-flagged material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern.

Prospect Resources has taken its flagship Mumbezhi Copper Project to 208.1 million tonnes, while lifting ownership to 90% and securing A$45 million for the next phase of work. The project remains pre-production, leaving the upcoming Scoping Study and further drilling to convert geological scale into an economic case.

Maritana Minerals has extended gold mineralisation beneath the planned Pit 4 floor at Boorara, with drilling still open at depth. The results could feed a larger resource and revised pit design, although assays, estimation and optimisation work remain ahead of a targeted mid-2027 restart.

Unico Silver has secured approximately A$60 million from institutional and sophisticated investors, taking pro forma cash to about A$110 million. The capital will fund 20,000 metres of drilling, a maiden PFS due in January 2027 and continued advancement of a DFS through 2027.

Viking Mines has confirmed thick tungsten intervals both beneath and above historic workings at its Linka project in Nevada, including 18 metres at 0.42% WO3 and 13 metres at 0.46% WO3. Castle Minerals has identified six ranked gold targets across its 212km² Nielle project in Côte d’Ivoire, including previously unreported intercepts of up to 8m at 3.65g/t gold from surface. The company is preparing an Exploration Target for the historically drilled zone while planning new drilling, subject to the permit being granted.

Core Lithium has moved Finniss from care and maintenance back into active mining, with first spodumene concentrate produced after year end and a December-quarter shipment targeted. The restart leaves the company with A$181.8 million in cash, but also a substantial execution task ahead as Grants ramps up and BP33 is developed.

Odyssey Gold’s latest drilling has added high-grade hits outside current resource boundaries and strengthened the case for a connected Cable-Bollard-Highway mineralised system at Tuckanarra. Preliminary fresh-rock testwork also returned recoveries of up to 99%, although the results remain exploration-stage and an updated resource is still to come.

White Cliff Minerals has expanded the assay-confirmed footprint of its Rae Copper Project beyond 11.5km, while new Danvers 3 drilling has placed visible copper sulphides within 19 metres of surface. The most eye-catching Danvers 3 interval still awaits laboratory assays.

Nordic Resources has recorded gold recoveries of up to 90% and copper recoveries of up to 91% at its Kopsa gold-copper project in Finland using a conventional processing route. The results will feed into an updated resource estimate expected in October, while a new 12,000-metre drilling program is already under way.

Lightning Minerals has started a 262-sample Phase 3 soil program at its Warby Tungsten Project in North Queensland, with the first 162 samples already at the laboratory. Results expected in October will help determine whether open tungsten anomalies are ready to support maiden drilling.

Altoro Metals says underground drilling has expanded the apparent width of the Emilia zinc mineralised system beyond 100 metres, although assays from nine holes are still pending. The company is combining four historical workings into one Novales Project as it prepares further drilling, a resource upgrade and mine restart documents.
