Latest Mineral Resource Estimation News

Heavy Rare Earths has identified high-grade heavy rare earth zones at Subron while preparing drilling across its South Australian portfolio. But the FY2026 report also highlights a material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern, with only $459,327 in cash at year-end.

Rincon Resources posted a $6.96 million FY2026 loss after writing down $5.53 million of exploration assets, while its cash balance rose following a $3.1 million placement. The explorer has narrowed its focus to Telfer South and Crackerbox, but remains dependent on future drilling and funding.

Avira Resources has expanded its Mt Cattlin drilling story with encouraging high-grade results, but the explorer’s annual report carries a material uncertainty over its ability to continue without further capital. The company ended FY2026 with $1.45 million in cash against a $986,980 loss and $1.21 million in operating and investing outflows.

Krakatoa Resources advanced drilling at its flagship Zopkhito antimony-gold project in Georgia, but the exploration push more than doubled its annual loss and reduced cash to $739,459. The company subsequently raised $4 million, highlighting the funding needed to keep moving towards a maiden JORC-compliant resource.

Clara Resources has pivoted decisively from coal to gold, but its Mareeba ambition sits alongside a $7.36 million annual loss, only $112,000 in year-end cash and a disclosed material uncertainty over going concern. The company is now relying on drilling, asset-sale proceeds and further capital to keep the strategy moving.

Pilbara Gold has lifted the Mt York resource by 50% to 2.08 million ounces while advancing a prefeasibility study and restarting drilling at Roe Hills. The annual report also warns that planned exploration spending could require another capital raise within 12 months.

MRG Metals has reported exceptional rare earth grades at its newly acquired Garies project and advanced its Mozambique portfolio, but the explorer remains dependent on capital markets. The FY26 annual report flags material uncertainty over going concern despite a subsequent A$725,000 placement and a further share purchase plan.

Venari Minerals has moved Red Mountain from grassroots discovery to a 3.03Mt lithium carbonate equivalent inferred resource, backed by 99.5% battery-grade lithium carbonate test work. The next test is commercial rather than geological, with drilling, permitting and a planned Scoping Study now competing against a large loss and ongoing funding needs.

Golden Mile Resources has reported broad, high-grade surface gold results at its Aurora prospect in Arizona, including 2.38g/t over about 126 metres. The exploration momentum comes alongside a $2.41 million annual loss, $609,757 in cash and an explicit warning that further funding is required.

Hawthorn Resources reported a wider Australian-dollar loss for FY2026, with revenue falling sharply and cash declining by $1.53 million. The company is directing its remaining balance sheet toward exploration at the Trouser Legs gold joint venture and Mount Bevan’s other minerals project.

Wildcat Resources has entered FY27 with a $60 million placement, a $37.2 million year-end cash balance and its Tabba Tabba lithium project advancing towards a definitive feasibility study. The funding strengthens the development runway, but final investment approval, financing and approvals remain ahead.

Larvotto Resources has extended high-grade antimony-gold-tungsten mineralisation at Clarks Gully about 100 metres beyond its 2025 resource model, with drilling also identifying several hanging-wall lodes. The results could support a larger resource and a potential underground feed source for Hillgrove, but assays, modelling and permitting work remain outstanding.
