Daly Resources has emerged from its June ASX debut with $11.05 million in cash, a 6,500 km² Northern Territory exploration portfolio and a growing list of drill targets. The catch is familiar for early-stage explorers: the company has yet to define a mineral resource or reserve, while its strongest Huckitta results remain surface sampling rather than drilling.

Hot Chili has reported broad, shallow copper-gold intersections at La Verde, including 188 metres at 0.56% CuEq and 240 metres at 0.43% CuEq. The results strengthen the geological case for a near-surface mining zone, but the discovery still has no Mineral Resource and 25 drillholes await assays.

Metal Hawk’s Leinster South project produced its strongest drilling results yet, led by a 9-metre intersection grading 12.3g/t gold at the Numbat lode. But the FY26 annual report also flags a material uncertainty over going concern, despite a subsequent $1.2 million placement.

Manhattan Gold’s first drilling at the Spectre VMS target has returned high-grade copper, gold, silver and zinc, including 6.10 metres at 3.18% copper. Mineralisation was repeated 77 metres along strike, but the early-stage results are reported as downhole lengths and do not yet establish true widths or a resource.

Middle Island Resources has outlined a much larger Serbian exploration portfolio after acquiring Konstantin Resources, with Bobija emerging as a broad shallow gold-silver polymetallic system. Rubix Resources ended FY2026 with a $1.283 million loss, only $95,001 in cash and a net asset deficit, prompting its auditor to flag a material uncertainty over going concern. The company’s Paperbark drilling produced an encouraging copper signal, but further exploration depends on fresh funding.

Broken Hill Gold has won tenders for two South Australian exploration licences covering 751 square kilometres, doubling its regional tenure near White Dam to more than 1,500 square kilometres. The ground includes the historically productive Manna Hill and Waukaringa goldfields, but still requires formal grant, permitting and modern drilling before its potential can be tested.
