Truscott Mining has confirmed gold mineralisation at a new Westminster structural target and is preparing diamond drilling ahead of a JORC 2012 resource update. The exploration progress comes alongside a larger loss, ongoing funding dependence and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern.

Cauldron Energy has expanded its defined Yanrey uranium resource to 55.6 million pounds of U3O8 after a successful exploration year, while warning that further funding will be needed to continue operations. The project remains dependent on a change to Western Australia’s uranium mining policy.

Mamba Exploration cut its FY2026 loss sharply and ended the year with A$1.19 million in cash after acquiring 70% of the Meeka East Gold Project. But the annual report says additional debt or equity funding is required to sustain exploration, creating a clear financial test for the new Western Australian strategy.

Hawk Resources has reported broad near-surface copper mineralisation at its Cactus project, while its FY2026 loss widened and the company flagged a continuing need for fresh funding. The explorer ended June with A$4.52 million in cash after substantial equity raisings and has since secured an 80% Olympus scandium interest for A$1.36 million.

DevEx Resources has emerged from FY2026 with a 9,200 square kilometre uranium landholding in the Northern Territory, $27.2 million in cash and a multi-target drilling campaign underway. Early alteration at KP and shallow mineralisation at Big Radon provide technical encouragement, but the exploration case remains dependent on follow-up drilling and assays.

Golden Dragon Mining’s first full financial year as an ASX-listed explorer delivered high-grade shallow gold results at Cue, but also a $735,073 loss and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over going concern. A subsequent $2.2 million placement has strengthened the balance sheet, leaving drilling results and funding discipline as the key tests for FY2027.

Minerals Exploration has pivoted decisively into New Zealand gold and tungsten, but its annual report carries a material going-concern warning after a $2.66 million loss and $949,097 operating cash outflow. Exploration has produced encouraging surface samples and broad gold zones, though no mineral resource has been established.

North Stawell Minerals has expanded and refined its Darlington-Caledonia exploration targets, including a post-year-end intercept of 0.4 metres at 17.1 g/t gold. But the gold explorer ended FY2026 with $701,960 in cash, a deeper loss and an auditor warning that further funding is needed to sustain operations.

Red Mountain Mining’s annual report shows a sharp rise in losses and continued reliance on equity funding, with auditors flagging material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. Exploration has expanded across antimony, tungsten and gold projects, but the portfolio remains dependent on future funding and successful drilling.

Sultan Resources has reported a $1.48 million FY2026 loss and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern. The explorer is seeking to fund early-stage Lachlan Fold Belt work while pursuing a new Namibia opportunity and a post-year-end $1.316 million placement.

Chalice Mining is moving Gonneville from study to execution, with a feasibility study underway and a targeted investment decision in the first half of 2028. The project’s sizeable economics sit alongside a A$26.2 million annual loss and a funding task that remains unresolved.

PLC Resources has repositioned around Western Australian gold and copper exploration, securing a maiden 13,000-ounce Inferred Resource at Wadgingarra and full ownership of Yalgoo. But the FY2026 annual report also carries a material uncertainty related to going concern, leaving future exploration dependent on additional funding and exploration success.
