Stellar Resources has lifted its Heemskirk tin resource to 115.3kt of contained tin while technical studies move toward a prefeasibility study outcome. The company is better funded, but remains pre-revenue and faces the usual capital, permitting and execution hurdles of mine development.

Bannerman Energy has moved its Etango uranium project materially closer to construction after completing a A$124 million placement and clearing conditions for its CNOL strategic investment. The project is advancing on site, but full-scale construction still depends on Final Investment Decision and completion of the joint venture documentation.

Wia Gold has moved Kokoseb from exploration into a proposed mine development backed by a 1.95 million ounce Probable Ore Reserve, A$217 million in equity raised since May and indicative US$360 million debt terms. The funding pathway is substantial, but it still depends on permits, lender approvals and final documentation before construction can fully proceed.

Great Southern Mining finished FY2026 with A$4.76 million in cash after selling Southern Star to Regis Resources and raising A$4.63 million, while drilling extended gold mineralisation at several Western Australian projects. The exploration story is advancing, but the annual report also contains an apparent inconsistency in the reported annual profit that warrants clarification.

Aurum Resources has secured A$52.5 million from institutional investors to begin long-lead procurement and other early works at its Boundiali gold project before the definitive feasibility study is complete. The raise strengthens the balance sheet, but also adds 95.45 million shares ahead of two major technical milestones.

Southern Cross Gold’s Sunday Creek project has cleared its first formal mining licence hurdle, with Resources Victoria accepting a 30.7-hectare application covering the Golden Dyke workings. The milestone begins a public assessment process, but does not yet authorise mining.

Astron Limited (ASX:ATR) says its Donald rare earths and mineral sands project is construction-ready, with a $759 million Phase 1 pre-tax NPV and first production targeted for 2028. The unresolved question is whether debt financing can convert the project’s strong study economics into a final investment decision.

Infinity Metals has reported a sharply smaller FY2026 loss as it shifts its exploration focus towards the United States and Australia. The pivot follows rejection of its San José mining licence application, a A$2.25 million placement and a growing portfolio of early-stage copper, molybdenum and tin targets.

Bannerman Energy has opened a non-underwritten share purchase plan targeting approximately A$10 million to support construction and working capital at its Etango uranium project in Namibia. The offer gives eligible Australian and New Zealand shareholders access to the same A$4.00 issue price as the company’s A$124 million institutional placement.

Aurum Resources has identified high-grade gold outside the current Mineral Resource at its BMT2 prospect in Côte d'Ivoire, including 2.38 metres at 22.01 g/t gold. The results arrive as the company moves towards a Boundiali resource update and Definitive Feasibility Study later this year.

Mandrake Resources has secured the final regulatory approval for a planned 3,200-metre gold-copper drilling programme at its Berinka project in the Northern Territory. Mobilisation is scheduled for October, putting the company’s next exploration milestone within reach.

Broken Hill Gold has started a 48 line-kilometre induced polarisation survey and 670 line-kilometre magnetic program at White Dam, targeting sulphide mineralisation beneath existing oxide prospects. A second diamond rig is also mobilising, but the next value test remains firmly in the ground: geophysical anomalies must translate into drilling results and an upgraded resource.
