Alchemy Resources finished FY2026 with a sharply wider loss, lower cash and a smaller asset base, even as drilling delivered strong copper-gold results at Yellow Mountain and high-grade iron results at Valley Bore. The explorer has reshaped its portfolio, but its next phase still depends on exploration success and further funding.

Legacy Minerals has appointed WSP to assess scandium at its 100%-owned NiCo Young project, potentially adding a third critical mineral to a 167.8Mt inferred nickel-cobalt resource. The combined JORC update is expected in October, but no scandium resource has yet been established.

Eneco Refresh has delivered its strongest profit in five years despite raw material inflation and logistics disruption, with operating cash flow and cash reserves also improving. The company now has scope to invest in automation and consider selective acquisitions, but offers no FY2027 earnings guidance or dividend.

Silver Mines says NSW planning authorities have reaffirmed that the Bowdens Silver Project is in the public interest and approvable subject to strict conditions. The Independent Planning Commission will resume its public hearing in October, with a final decision expected by 9 December 2026.

Auric Mining has acquired second-hand crushing and processing infrastructure for $1.2 million, securing key equipment for its planned Burbanks restart at a substantial discount to estimated replacement cost. The package is scheduled to move from New South Wales in late 2026, with installation preparation targeted for early 2027.

Argent Minerals has intersected visible gold in two apparently unmined quartz veins beneath historic workings during the second hole of its maiden Trunkey Creek drilling program. The encouraging visual result remains unquantified until photon assay results establish the grades and true widths.

Raptor Metals has sold its remaining Australian Gold and Copper stake for approximately $468,200, converting a legacy asset into cash without issuing new shares. The proceeds add funding flexibility as the company advances copper exploration in New Brunswick.

Cosmo Metals has secured approval for up to 2,200 metres of maiden drilling at the Mona copper-gold-silver prospect in New South Wales. The campaign will test whether striking grades from historic mine dumps reflect concealed sulphide mineralisation below the old workings.

Synertec has identified ANSTO as the client behind its $45.5 million engineering contract, with about $36 million of revenue expected during the first 26 months. The project could improve FY27 revenue, but the company has not yet revised its guidance.

TechGen Metals has outlined a funded exploration campaign spanning gold, copper and silver targets, with about A$3 million in pro forma cash and several assays due through late 2026. The strongest potential catalyst is John Bull, where step-out drilling could support a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate if results are positive.

Kincora Copper has received a further US$1.5 million from the staged sale of its Mongolian subsidiaries, taking proceeds to US$6.5 million. A final US$3.5 million remains scheduled by the end of 2026, subject to transaction milestones and conditions.

Cosmo Metals has secured the Carters Road exploration licence in New South Wales after reconnaissance work returned 4.69% copper and 5.78g/t silver from a single selective rock-chip sample. The result offers an early exploration lead, but does not establish continuity, scale or economic significance.
