Sunshine Metals has upgraded the economics of its Liontown project, forecasting A$179.8 million in net operating cashflow after capital over a 66-month mine life. The study points to mid-2027 mining, but depends on approvals, Mt Moss commissioning and a preliminary plan carrying a plus or minus 30% accuracy range.

Great Northern Minerals has identified at least three undrilled chargeability anomalies at its Douglas Creek project in North Queensland, supported by gold, copper, silver and bismuth surface results. The targets sit around a large reverse-polarised magnetic tonalite body that extends to an interpreted depth of about 1 kilometre, but drilling is not expected until mid-2027.

Breakthrough Minerals has extended copper-gold mineralisation beyond the existing Turpentine resource model, with the northernmost hole returning 5 metres at 3.75% CuEq. A dedicated RC rig is due to resume drilling next week as the company tests how far the system continues.

Sunshine Metals says refurbishment of its Mt Moss processing facility in north Queensland remains on schedule for commissioning and first gold in mid-2027. Construction is expected to begin in October or November, subject to final design work, tenders and contracts.

Clara Resources has converted the sale of its non-core Kildanga nickel-cobalt project into $2.1 million of unconditional cash consideration, including $150,000 already received. The remaining $1.95 million is due by 30 September and is earmarked largely for drilling at Mareeba.
