Tolu Minerals has more than doubled its reported gold resources to 1.33 million ounces after declaring a maiden 293,000-ounce resource at Mt Penck in Papua New Guinea. The project also carries a largely untested copper-gold porphyry target, but its proposed A$30 million exploration program still requires separate funding.

Lightning Minerals says reconnaissance sampling has expanded the Warby Project’s interpreted tungsten system well beyond its World War I-era workings, with rock chips grading up to 5.5% tungsten. The company has fast-tracked further soil sampling to define the anomalies before selecting maiden drill targets.

White Cliff Minerals has reported broad, bornite-dominant mineralisation in the first-ever drilling at Bornite Hills, but laboratory assays are still weeks away. The results expand an interpreted 1.5-kilometre target corridor linking the Horseshoe and Big Jim areas, but drilling is still needed to establish continuity, thickness and scale.

Dalaroo Metals has identified coincident geophysical and geochemical features at its Watheroo Cu-Ni-PGE prospect, including a modelled chargeability response of approximately 18 mV/V. The results support plans for deep RC drilling, but the anomalies remain unproven and could have non-mineralisation sources.

Unity Metals has identified multiple new gold-anomalous zones across 1,063 metres of trenching at its Ngot and O’Phlay projects in Cambodia. The work also showed that drilling at Ngot NE was poorly oriented to intersect the interpreted mineralisation, setting up a revised drilling campaign.
