Latest Porphyry Systems News

Southern Hemisphere Mining and partner FMR Resources have reported broad gold-copper-molybdenum mineralisation at the Southern Porphyry target in Chile, confirming a large porphyry system. Despite fertile intrusive phases intersected, the mineralised core remains elusive, setting the stage for targeted Phase II drilling.

FMR Resources has reported assay results from three diamond drillholes at the Southern Porphyry target within its Chilean Llahuin Project, confirming a large, vertically extensive porphyry-related hydrothermal system. While the causative porphyry core remains untested, elevated gold and molybdenum values suggest proximity, prompting plans for a focused Phase II drill program.

Golden Mile Resources Ltd (ASX: G88) has secured a binding joint venture to earn up to 95% interest in the Leviathan Porphyry Copper-Molybdenum Project in Arizona, with initial sampling confirming significant copper and molybdenum mineralisation and exploration set to begin in April 2026.

Belararox Limited continues diamond drilling at its Toro Central Prospect within the TMT Project in Argentina, focusing on high-grade silver-zinc-copper-gold mineralisation. Assay results from recent drill holes are pending, while exploration highlights copper porphyry potential at Tambo South and initial assessment of the El Faro tenement.

FMR Resources has reported extensive mineralised intersections in drillhole 26LHDD073 at Target L within the Llahuin Project JV, highlighting promising porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum potential. Assay results are anticipated in June 2026, setting the stage for a focused Phase II drilling campaign.

FMR Resources has completed a deep diamond drillhole at Target L within its Chilean Llahuin Project, intersecting extensive mineralised porphyry and stockwork breccia zones with visible copper and molybdenite sulphides. The results confirm a significant porphyry system beneath volcanic cover, setting the stage for targeted Phase II drilling.

Cannindah Resources has kicked off a 10,000-metre diamond drilling campaign at its Southern Porphyry Target, aiming to confirm a significant copper-gold system beneath Mt Cannindah. This ambitious program could redefine the company’s resource base and growth trajectory.

Killi Resources has won a Queensland Government grant to co-fund drilling at its Mt Rawdon West copper-gold project, targeting a compelling porphyry system. The planned drilling aims to test significant geochemical and geophysical anomalies in the Baloo prospect.

AusQuest Limited has kicked off an extensive new drilling campaign at its Cangallo copper-gold project in Peru, aiming to expand mineralisation and uncover higher-grade copper sulphides beneath the surface.

EV Resources has acquired the remaining 50% stake in the Don Enrique Copper-Silver Project in Peru, consolidating a large, drill-ready land package with significant high-grade mineralisation and permits in place.

Titan Minerals has reported significant wide zones of gold-silver-copper porphyry mineralisation at its Kaliman target within the Dynasty Gold Project, following a 25,000m drilling campaign in 2025. This breakthrough is set to underpin an imminent Mineral Resource update expected in late Q1 2026.

Sunstone Metals has significantly expanded the surface footprint of gold-copper mineralisation at its Porotillo discovery within the Bramaderos Project, reporting a 462m trench averaging 0.55 g/t AuEq. This milestone supports a large exploration target and advances drilling efforts as a scoping study progresses.
