Bass Oil has confirmed oil in the previously unproduced M sand at its Bunian 6 well in Indonesia, with a short cleanup flow reaching approximately 2,400 barrels per day without water. The completed well is expected to lift field production from 250 to at least 750 barrels per day, subject to testing and tie-in work.

Culpeo Minerals has started a four-hole, 2,000-metre maiden diamond drilling programme at Vista Montana, testing a copper-molybdenum target north-east of its Lana Corina discovery. The company is also using IP surveys to refine targets, while assays from El Quillay South returned several narrow copper-gold intersections.

Brightstar Resources says construction of its 1.5Mtpa Laverton processing plant remains on schedule and within budget, with first gold still targeted for June 2027. The update also marks the end of underground mining at Second Fortune as the company shifts towards commissioning and new mine development.
