Heavy Minerals reported a sharply wider FY2026 loss and a $3.15 million net working capital deficit, with its auditor flagging material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. The balance sheet pressure sits alongside stronger project milestones, including a post-year-end Port Gregory study and the push to fund Kanmantoo.

KGL Resources has awarded Sedgman the design, procurement and construction contract for the processing plant at its Jervois Copper Project, moving the Northern Territory development closer to a final investment decision. The expanded scope includes early installation work for future plant additions, while KGL says the contract remains consistent with its baseline cost and schedule assumptions.

Aureka’s inferred gold resources climbed to 454.8koz in FY2026 as the company moved closer to production through a proposed acquisition of the Fiddlers Creek mine and Wedderburn mill. The shift comes with a $5.75 million annual loss, $5.97 million operating cash outflow and further equity funding.

Latitude 66 returned to a A$1.71 million FY2026 profit as asset sales funded a larger gold resource base and major KSB milestones. But the auditor flagged material uncertainty over the explorer’s ability to continue without further funding.

Hawk Resources has reported broad near-surface copper mineralisation at its Cactus project, while its FY2026 loss widened and the company flagged a continuing need for fresh funding. The explorer ended June with A$4.52 million in cash after substantial equity raisings and has since secured an 80% Olympus scandium interest for A$1.36 million.

PhosCo has expanded its Gasaat phosphate project with a 166.6Mt resource and new processing results, but its auditor has flagged material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. The ASX-listed explorer ended FY2026 with $5.86 million in cash, a $4.48 million consolidated loss and a $2.71 million working capital deficit.

Lake Resources will issue 67.5 million shares to raise A$3 million for work on its Kachi lithium project in Argentina. The shares are priced at a 4.6% premium to recent trading, although the raise adds another layer of dilution while the project advances toward construction-phase engineering.

HyTerra says it has cut recurring corporate overheads by 30% before new initiatives, or 21% after including them, while reshaping its board and management. The geologic hydrogen explorer is also seeking approval for a 20:1 share consolidation and progressing a sponsored US ADR program without raising new capital.

GenusPlus Group has secured an approximately $135 million design and construct contract for the grid connection of Atmos Renewables’ 470MW Parron Maam Marang Farm in Western Australia. The award offers work through 2028, although the main construction phase remains conditional on project milestones including financial close and a Notice to Proceed.

AML3D will contribute about A$530,000 to a three-year, A$3.89 million research project aimed at qualifying its Wire-Arc Additive Manufacturing technology for aerospace tooling. The project carries no immediate revenue, but could open the door to future production contracts if qualification succeeds.

Orion Minerals has set out a clearer route towards first production at its Prieska copper-zinc project, but its audited FY2026 accounts warn that further funding remains essential. The company reported a A$12.69 million loss and A$14.46 million in cash while targeting first production in Q3 2027.

Cazaly Resources will replace managing director Tara French with mining executive Adrian Byass from 8 October, while launching a review of its exploration portfolio. Byass will receive a $325,000 annual salary and may be granted up to 7 million performance rights, subject to approval and conditions.
