Ora Banda Mining has begun underground development at Waihi in Western Australia, where drilling has returned intersections of up to 1.6 metres at 65.9 g/t gold. The mine is scheduled to deliver first underground ore in mid-2027, ahead of the company’s planned 3.0 Mtpa Davyhurst processing plant.

Bass Oil has confirmed oil in the previously unproduced M sand at its Bunian 6 well in Indonesia, with a short cleanup flow reaching approximately 2,400 barrels per day without water. The completed well is expected to lift field production from 250 to at least 750 barrels per day, subject to testing and tie-in work.

D3 Energy has identified deeper water zones that are now sitting above the gas-bearing intervals in two Nooitgedacht wells, restricting gas flow in an extremely low-pressure reservoir. Remedial cementing is expected to begin next week, but restored flow and commercial results remain unconfirmed.
