Latest Resource Confidence News

Lunnon Metals has returned broad, high-grade gold intersections from the extensions of its recently mined Lady Herial pit, including 16 metres at 9.14 g/t gold. The results will feed an updated resource model and a December scoping study assessing whether a deeper cut-back can work.

Burley Minerals has confirmed shallow Channel Iron Deposit mineralisation across the North and Step-Out Targets at its Cane Bore project, with assays averaging 50.6% Fe across reported intersections. The mineralisation remains open northeast and southwest, but further drilling, metallurgy and approvals are still required before any resource can be defined.

Great Boulder Resources has reported further shallow, high-grade gold intersections from its 40,000-metre Peak Hill drilling campaign, including 9 metres at 4.17g/t gold from just 6 metres at Enigma. Results at Enigma and Five Ways point to continuity and potential open-pit upside, although further drilling and resource updates remain ahead.

Osmond Resources’ preliminary study has put a US$2.31 billion post-tax NPV on its Spanish rare earths and mineral sands project, but the headline economics rest on a scoping-level model and a US$300 million funding requirement. The next test is whether drilling, metallurgy, permitting and financing can turn the attractive concept into a financeable mine.

WA Gold has posted a A$2.36 million annual loss and warned that additional working capital is needed to continue as a going concern. The company is nevertheless pressing ahead with Abercromby drilling and a potential 114,000-ounce staged development.

Osmond Resources has outlined a 60.0 million tonne maiden JORC resource at its Orión critical minerals project in Spain, but most of the inventory remains Inferred and unproven economically. The company will resume drilling in October, with an updated estimate targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

Jindalee Lithium has advanced its proposed US Elemental Nasdaq listing and prepared to launch major drilling at McDermitt, but its audited FY26 accounts flag a material uncertainty over ongoing funding. The company ended June with A$13.6 million in cash after raising about A$20.4 million, while reporting a A$7.2 million loss and no operating revenue.

Eminence Minerals has cut its FY2026 loss and raised its pro forma cash position to about A$5.4 million after selling the Mata da Corda titanium project. The portfolio is now centred on Hamersley iron ore and Brazilian rare earth exploration, but heritage litigation, ungranted tenure and future funding needs remain material constraints.

Eclipse Metals has enlarged its flagship Grønnedal rare-earth resource to 208 million tonnes and added a maiden Ivigtût critical-minerals inventory. The gains came alongside a higher annual loss, a material going-concern uncertainty and an unresolved legal claim.

Pivotal Metals’ maiden scoping study gives its Horden Lake copper project a projected post-tax NPV of A$920 million against A$411 million of pre-production capital. The headline returns are strong, but the project remains a preliminary study with no Ore Reserve, material Inferred Resource exposure and more than A$400 million still to raise.

West Coast Silver will begin an 18-hole diamond drilling campaign at Elizabeth Hill in October, targeting resource upgrades, western extensions and a newly defined high-grade zone. The results are intended to feed Mineral Resource Estimate updates and a scoping study in 2027.

Viridis Mining and Minerals Limited (ASX:VMM) has used its FY2026 annual report to present Colossus as a rare earths project moving from study work into execution. The company has reported strong DFS economics and fresh equity funding, but still needs key permits, binding offtake and senior debt before construction can fully proceed.
