Latest Resource Estimates News

Resource Base Limited (ASX:RBX) reduced its FY2026 loss, but ended the year with only $140,776 in cash and an auditor warning of material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern. The company is relying on fresh capital to advance early-stage titanium targets in South Australia.

Hot Chili’s La Verde copper-gold discovery has expanded rapidly enough to become a cornerstone of the Costa Fuego project, while new funding gives the company room to pursue the next studies and permits. The key test now is whether drilling can translate into a maiden resource and a credible development case.

ACDC Metals enters FY27 with a larger Nevada exploration footprint and a 10-year licence over its Goschen Central rare earths project, but a sharply higher annual loss and ongoing funding needs remain part of the picture. The company plans up to 2,500 metres of reverse-circulation drilling at Mount Jackson in Q4 CY2026.

Oceana Metals has begun a 20,000-metre diamond drilling campaign at its Serra Negra rare earths project in Brazil, backed by high-grade historic assays and fresh capital. But the company’s $11.5 million FY2026 loss and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over going concern add a harder edge to the exploration story.

Ballymore Resources enters FY2027 with Dittmer moving towards underground resource drilling, bulk sampling and trial mining, while Torpy’s has emerged as a second high-grade polymetallic opportunity. The progress came alongside a $3.10 million loss, a $10.92 million royalty liability and a disclosed material uncertainty over ongoing funding.

Tennant Minerals has reported a high-grade maiden resource and further strong drilling at its Bluebird copper-gold discovery, but the annual report carries a material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. A $2.8 million capital raise completed around year-end provides near-term funding, while further exploration and processing studies remain ahead.

Mithril Silver and Gold has lifted the higher-confidence portion of its Copalquin Target 1 resource to 464,000 ounces of gold equivalent, giving the Mexican project a stronger base for mine planning. The upgrade comes alongside a larger loss, substantial exploration spending and an auditor’s warning that further funding is needed to support the company’s going-concern status.

Power Minerals has extended confirmed high-grade rare earth mineralisation at its Morro do Ferro project in Brazil, with a new hole returning 39 metres at 4.42% TREO from 80 metres downhole. Assays from shallower and deeper sections remain pending, leaving the scale and geometry of the zone unresolved.

Lake Resources has secured the primary provincial environmental permit for its Kachi lithium project in Argentina, clearing the way for detailed engineering and financing work. The approval removes a major development hurdle, but FEED, funding, RIGI approval and a final investment decision remain ahead.

Resources & Energy Group has reported a standout 9-metre gold intercept at Goodenough as it prepares a fresh resource estimate. The exploration progress arrives alongside an audited warning that further funding is needed to sustain the business.

Solstice Minerals has extended the Nanadie copper-gold system to at least 1.5km of strike, with deep diamond drilling returning broad mineralisation beyond the current resource boundary. The results include a 169.3m intercept at 0.87% copper and 0.29g/t gold, while more than 40 holes remain awaiting assays.

Redcastle Resources has quantified 6,600 ounces of gold already mined and sitting on its ROM pad, but the inventory remains a Mineral Resource rather than an Ore Reserve. The stockpiles are ready to move, although processing arrangements are still being negotiated and mining is currently suspended.
