High-Tech Metals has entered the December quarter with a 47% increase in the Mt Fisher Mineral Resource, $8.9 million in cash and a Wagtail development study approaching completion. The company now faces the harder test of converting resource growth into a credible production pathway.

Dundas Minerals has drilled 5,180 metres across three Kalgoorlie gold projects and extended interpreted Rockland mineralisation to about 170 metres below surface. A post-quarter-end $2.88 million placement gives the explorer additional funding, although its September cash balance covered only 1.75 quarters of estimated outgoings before the raise.

Zinc of Ireland has reported average recoveries of 93% silver, 97% lead, 58% zinc and 80% copper from three zinc leach residue sources as it accelerates ARGO toward a pilot plant in early 2027. The company also completed an A$3.2 million placement, while critical-mineral recoveries and commercial-scale milestones remain outstanding.

Alice Queen has reported a 68.0g/t gold interval from its Horn Island drilling, alongside broader high-grade zones inside the existing resource and mineralisation beyond its boundary. Nine assays remain pending, leaving the scale and continuity of the potential extension unresolved.

Kaiser Reef produced 6,263 ounces of gold in the September quarter while lifting cash and bullion to A$40 million and fully repaying its Auramet gold loan after quarter end. Henty replaced mined reserves, while Maldon’s exploration program moved underground despite a negative operating cash contribution.

Raptor Metals has returned broad copper-rich and polymetallic assays from archived Chester core, including up to 32 metres at 1.38% copper. The results will feed an updated resource estimate, but they remain downhole results from within the existing resource footprint rather than a new resource declaration.

Turaco Gold has reported high-grade gold extensions at Begnopan and Asupiri-Adiopan, including a 6-metre hit at 18.52g/t, as it prepares to update Afema’s 4.65Moz Mineral Resource. The results remain exploration data rather than a new resource or reserve, but several intersections sit beyond existing models and Ore Reserve boundaries.

Ballard Mining has expanded its Mt Ida gold resource by 658,000 ounces to 1.84 million ounces and strengthened its funding position with a post-quarter-end equity raise of up to A$50 million. The pre-production developer is now moving from resource growth towards a feasibility study and maiden Ore Reserve targeted for mid-2027.

Westgold Resources has completed a A$33.3 million infrastructure program at Beta Hunt, where an annualised 2Mtpa mining rate was reached in September. The company is now targeting sustained performance at that rate from Q2 FY27, while warning that the mine’s original life-of-mine ventilation system still requires repair, recommissioning or replacement.

Aurum Resources has reported gold mineralisation outside the current resource at BST1 and BMT2, including a 57-metre intercept grading 2.34 g/t gold. The results will be assessed in an updated Boundiali resource estimate due by the end of October, ahead of a planned definitive feasibility study.

Medallion Metals is moving towards first gold production, with Cosmic Boy processing scheduled to begin this month and initial sales expected in November. At Kundip, the first box-cut blast is complete and underground development remains targeted for December.
