First Au has agreed to acquire the Ida Valley Gold Project in Western Australia for A$100,000 in cash and A$100,000 in shares. The project comes with historical drilling across two prospects, but the data still needs to be validated and the transaction remains conditional.

Magnum Mining has added 119 assay results to its Piracanjuba North database, identifying four coherent high-desorption zones across roughly 7.19 square kilometres. The results strengthen the exploration case ahead of a targeted November resource estimate, although the desorption figures remain laboratory screening results rather than process recoveries.

Cooper Metals is pursuing an 85% interest in the Colet Copper Project in the Philippines, anchored by a large but unvalidated historical copper estimate. The acquisition would more than double the company’s share count and requires shareholder approval alongside a A$4.85 million capital raising.

The update gives the company a larger, more defined resource base, but the project remains at the Mineral Resource stage rather than a development decision.

Austral Resources has extended the known McLeod Hill copper system to more than 1km of strike, well beyond its existing 470m Mineral Resource footprint. The shallow mineralisation sits within existing mining leases and 4.5km of the company’s Western Operations processing facility, but still requires further drilling, modelling and metallurgical work.
