Latest Seismic Surveys News

Beetaloo Energy is approaching a pivotal Q4 milestone, with its Carpentaria Gas Plant moving into final instrumentation and electrical works after Carpentaria-5H sustained an average 6.9 TJ/day flow. The company also ended September with $113.2 million in liquidity and unveiled a longer-term gas-to-power and data centre opportunity near Darwin.

Macallum New Energy has lifted the arithmetic mean prospective gas resource across its EP 494 portfolio to 2,506 PJ after new 3D seismic and reprocessed 2D data sharpened several targets. The company is now seeking a joint venture partner for up to two exploration wells targeted for the second half of 2027.

DevEx has recorded uranium-equivalent intersections at Nabarlek North and mapped kilometre-scale alteration along the Nabarlek Fault Corridor. The results strengthen the company’s exploration pipeline, but laboratory assays and further drilling are still needed to establish the significance of the early readings.

Thor Energy has pushed HY-Range closer to drilling after recording natural hydrogen readings of up to 3% and commissioning a 464 line-kilometre seismic survey. But the annual report also carries an explicit material uncertainty over going concern, leaving funding as the project’s immediate constraint.

GreenX Metals has put a conceptual copper-silver target at Tannenberg and a major Poland arbitration award at the centre of its next phase. The annual report also shows the cost of that strategy: a $12.34 million loss, a $4.42 million project impairment and continued reliance on equity funding.

Western Mines Group has reported its richest basal nickel intersection yet at Mulga Tank, including 38 metres at 0.71% nickel from more than 1.3 kilometres underground. The exploration progress is substantial, but the company also recorded a larger annual loss, limited year-end cash and a material going-concern uncertainty.

Strategic Energy Resources (ASX:SER) narrowed its FY26 loss and lifted cash to $1.84 million while advancing four Queensland copper-gold projects with Fortescue and Sumitomo. But auditors flagged a material uncertainty over the explorer’s ability to continue as a going concern, leaving future funding central to the investment case.

Western Mines Group has identified broad nickel sulphide mineralisation across six holes on the western margin of Mulga Tank, including a shallow 13m zone grading 0.41% nickel. The results also support a geological model that could guide follow-up drilling towards richer zones, ahead of a government-backed seismic survey.

Tali Resources ended its first full year as an ASX-listed explorer with A$5.19 million in cash, a larger West Arunta exploration program and a A$1.48 million loss. The annual report also records a A$516,170 impairment after early drilling returned only moderately anomalous results, keeping the company firmly in the high-risk pre-discovery phase.

Cauldron Energy has extended uranium mineralisation strike lengths by approximately 2.5 kilometres at both Manyingee South and Manyingee North within its Yanrey Uranium Project, underpinning significant resource growth potential.

Strike Energy has secured Hancock Energy's Belisama facility as the preferred processing partner for West Erregulla gas and agreed on up to $30 million in funding to advance development, targeting first gas by mid-2029.

Dart Mining has digitised and verified extensive historical drilling data at its Walwa Tin Project, identifying two compelling deep drilling targets. Diamond drilling is set to begin in October 2026 to test these high-potential zones beneath known mineralisation.
