Metallium has moved Flash Joule Heating from tiny laboratory tests to multi-reactor campaigns in Texas, backed by feedstock contracts, offtake and A$125 million raised during FY2026. Yet the ASX-listed group remains pre-revenue, lost A$42.8 million and says continued access to funding is a material uncertainty.

Peninsula Energy’s low-pH uranium restart delivered stronger grades but struggled to move enough solution through the Lance wellfields, forcing guidance to be withdrawn and triggering a US$50.1 million impairment. Auditors flagged material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern, despite fresh funding and a reconfirmed CY2027 production target.

Pantoro has increased Norseman’s Mineral Resources by 2% and Ore Reserves by 9% after mining depletion, with the Mainfield delivering the clearest growth. The company also reported a $113.2 million FY2026 profit, but the next test is converting a larger geological inventory into sustained production.

Lotus Resources delivered first uranium production from Kayelekera in more than a decade, but its first operating year brought a $100.1 million loss, heavy cash burn and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern. The mine produced 332.1 thousand pounds of U3O8 before acid supply problems forced a temporary processing pause.

VRX Silica has assembled much of the commercial and regulatory case for Arrowsmith North, including 960,000 tonnes per annum of binding offtakes and a reported A$179.2 million project NPV. The harder test now is funding construction while final approvals, logistics contracts and a final investment decision remain outstanding.

Core Lithium has moved Finniss from care and maintenance back into active mining, with first spodumene concentrate produced after year end and a December-quarter shipment targeted. The restart leaves the company with A$181.8 million in cash, but also a substantial execution task ahead as Grants ramps up and BP33 is developed.

New Murchison Gold has added a maiden 21,000-ounce Ore Reserve at Cloudkicker while reporting a group Mineral Resource of 353,700 ounces. The update also places 150,400 ounces of underground resources beneath Crown Prince, but the reserve base remains relatively short-dated and dependent on continued drilling and operating performance.

Advanced Engineered Materials is forecasting a sharp lift in second-half sales as its Quebec high-purity alumina operation moves from qualification work towards commercial production. The larger prize is a possible 6,000-tonne-per-year expansion, but that plan still depends on feasibility, financing and final investment approval.

Papyrus Australia moved its banana-fibre technology into early commercialisation during FY26, signing an estimated $4.2 million TBS supply contract and delivering commercial-scale samples. But the company ended the year with $257,077 cash, negative equity and an auditor-flagged material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern.

Bass Oil’s Bunian 6 well has confirmed oil in a previously unproduced zone, with the company targeting a potential threefold increase in Tangai-Sukananti field production. August sales also improved as Cooper Basin exports resumed, while Vanessa and Kiwi advanced toward future gas development.

Central Petroleum has swung to a $4.9 million FY2026 statutory loss after writing down two Amadeus Basin permits, but its gas business generated higher revenue and margins. The company is now betting on Palm Valley drilling, long-term contracts and new east coast acreage to restore growth.

Bass Oil has put a 1,280-barrel-per-day Bunian 6 test and planned Vanessa gas sales at the centre of its next growth phase. The company is also promoting Kiwi as a larger, longer-dated development opportunity, although much of the upside remains subject to testing, funding and execution.
