PMET Resources says Koch Technology Solutions has demonstrated a more selective pathway for turning Shaakichiuwaanaan pollucite concentrate into multiple high-purity caesium chemicals. The result is promising, but the commercial case still depends on larger-scale testing, marketable samples and a planned economic assessment.

Delta Lithium reported a $13.2 million FY2026 profit after separating its gold assets into Ballard Mining, while advancing lithium projects at Mt Ida and Yinnetharra. The result was supported heavily by demerger-related accounting gains, leaving the next test firmly operational: whether the projects can move towards production.

Historical work has identified widespread near-surface columbo-tantalite mineralisation at Australasian Metals’ Atex project in Côte d’Ivoire, adding a potential tantalum stream to its lithium strategy. The results are encouraging, but the underlying estimate is non-JORC, unverified and based on incomplete historical records.

Kali Metals has secured up to $700,000 in exploration funding from Japan’s JX Advanced Metals for its 1,413 square kilometre Southern Lachlan project. The agreement creates a pathway to a potential farm-in or joint venture, but no formal deal has yet been agreed.

Eastern Resources has placed its Queensland Marengo Gold Project at the centre of its exploration strategy after 54 of 60 rock-chip samples returned more than 0.1 ppm gold, including a peak of 12.3 ppm. The company remains an early-stage explorer, with no JORC Mineral Resource yet defined and A$3.27 million in cash at year-end.

Albright Metals will surrender its Gabanintha mineral rights to Australian Vanadium in return for $1.75 million, a 0.75% royalty and a sharper focus on its Canadian flagship. The package includes $500,000 in cash and $1.25 million of Australian Vanadium shares, although the final share count is yet to be determined.

Morella has established a maiden 5.44 million tonne Inferred resource at Mt Edon containing approximately 8,300 tonnes of rubidium oxide. The estimate gives the project scale, but commercial value still depends on recovery, purification and a viable product route.

Dart Mining has confirmed high-grade tin in four selective rock-chip samples from its Walwa project in Northeast Victoria, including 3.96% tin with elevated tantalum and niobium. The results strengthen the case for maiden diamond drilling planned for October, but do not establish representative grades or a mineral resource.

Great Dirt Resources has identified 24 priority manganese targets in New South Wales and confirmed rock-chip grades of up to 51.8% manganese. The exploration progress came alongside a $19.1 million FY2026 loss, largely caused by a non-cash share-based payments expense, while cash rose to $3.81 million.

QEM has ranked the Vaught-Peck prospect as the leading target at its newly acquired Garden Valley project in Idaho after reviewing historical records of columbite, samarskite and other rare-metal minerals. The opportunity remains prospective rather than proven, with no modern drilling, assays or resource estimate yet reported.

Green Technology Metals has completed the environmental assessment for its Seymour Lithium Project in Ontario, removing a major step from the mine’s permitting pathway. The milestone does not yet amount to final development approval, with a mine closure plan and several permits still required.

WhiteRock Lithium says all seven holes drilled in the first phase of its 2026 campaign intersected spodumene-bearing pegmatite, extending the Spodumene Mountain strike length by 115% to 1.4km. The result is encouraging, but laboratory assays are still needed to establish lithium grades and true widths.
