Estrella Resources has agreed to divest its nickel rights across five Western Australian tenements for 20 million Astral Resources shares valued at $3 million. The deal remains conditional, but would sharpen Estrella’s focus on its Timor-Leste exploration portfolio while preserving exposure to Astral’s equity upside.

Estrella Resources has delivered a 27,371-tonne manganese stockpile and a maiden 621-million-tonne limestone resource in Timor-Leste, but the operational progress came alongside a $23.98 million FY2026 loss and a $21.13 million impairment of Western Australian assets.
