Kali Metals has secured up to $700,000 in exploration funding from Japan’s JX Advanced Metals for its 1,413 square kilometre Southern Lachlan project. The agreement creates a pathway to a potential farm-in or joint venture, but no formal deal has yet been agreed.

Infinity Metals has reported a sharply smaller FY2026 loss as it shifts its exploration focus towards the United States and Australia. The pivot follows rejection of its San José mining licence application, a A$2.25 million placement and a growing portfolio of early-stage copper, molybdenum and tin targets.

Elementos has materially strengthened its balance sheet while moving its Spanish Oropesa tin project closer to permitting, financing and a final investment decision. The annual report also highlights a doubling of Cleveland’s inferred tungsten resource, but both projects still require substantial capital and further approvals.

Lightning Minerals says reconnaissance sampling has expanded the Warby Project’s interpreted tungsten system well beyond its World War I-era workings, with rock chips grading up to 5.5% tungsten. The company has fast-tracked further soil sampling to define the anomalies before selecting maiden drill targets.

Eastern Resources has placed its Queensland Marengo Gold Project at the centre of its exploration strategy after 54 of 60 rock-chip samples returned more than 0.1 ppm gold, including a peak of 12.3 ppm. The company remains an early-stage explorer, with no JORC Mineral Resource yet defined and A$3.27 million in cash at year-end.

Dart Mining has confirmed high-grade tin in four selective rock-chip samples from its Walwa project in Northeast Victoria, including 3.96% tin with elevated tantalum and niobium. Critica has restated its 100%-owned Mt Lindsay project under JORC 2012, defining 19 million tonnes at 1.09% SnEQ and containing about 49,000 tonnes of tin and 28,000 tonnes of tungsten. The estimate gives the Tasmanian project a current resource base, but it remains a mix of Indicated and Inferred material rather than an Ore Reserve.

White Energy has completed its US metallurgical coal and Surat Basin acquisitions, backed by a $15 million placement and a leadership change that puts Nathan Tinkler in the executive chair. The transactions materially expand the company’s asset base, but the announcement provides no production forecasts or development timetable.

Lode Resources has identified a new polymetallic lode at its Montezuma project in Tasmania, with a narrow interval returning exceptional tin, copper, silver, antimony, gold and lead grades. Three further mineralised zones from the same hole remain awaiting assays, while follow-up drilling is already underway.

Sky Metals has identified high-grade tungsten mineralisation at the Theirman Mines Prospect, 20 kilometres north of its Tallebung project in NSW. The results validate historical sampling and move the prospect towards drilling within weeks, although the evidence remains limited to surface rock chips.
