The deal offers a low-cost route into a US critical-minerals opportunity, but carries a significant related-party consideration because CEO Derek Marshall owns about 66.67% of the vendor.

Latrobe Magnesium is shifting its growth priority to a proposed 50 ktpa magnesium plant in South Carolina, backed by 32 ktpa of non-binding customer interest and a 20-year feedstock agreement. The project carries substantial indicative economics, but still needs funding, site acquisition, feasibility work, permits and binding offtake contracts.

JPMorgan US 100Q Equity Premium Income ETF (ASX:JPH) lifted operating profit to A$15.678 million for the year ended 30 June 2026, while net assets rose to A$106.991 million. The fund is also preparing to move its underlying exposure from a Nasdaq-listed ETF to an Irish UCITS vehicle traded in London, with total management fees and costs unchanged at 0.40% a year.

JPMorgan Global Research Enhanced Index Equity Trust reported a sharp rise in operating profit and net assets for the year ended 30 June 2026, powered largely by fair value gains across its global portfolio. Distributions also increased substantially, particularly for hedged classes, although the report does not show whether the Fund outperformed its benchmark.

Resolution Minerals has finished its largest-ever exploration program at the Horse Heaven project in Idaho, drilling 42 diamond holes across 12,236 metres. The work sets up a substantial run of gold, tungsten and multi-element assay results, but the completed program has not yet produced new assay data in this announcement.
