Elixir Energy has begun the second phase of flow testing at Lorelle-3H after a 60-day reservoir soak, moving the Queensland appraisal well closer to a potential maiden Reserves booking. Success could position the well as a foundation producer for the proposed Warkon Pilot.

Elixir Energy says its Lorelle-3H well reached a peak test rate of 10.5 MMscfd and a stable rate of 2.35 MMscfd during first-phase cleanup. The ASX-listed gas explorer is now preparing for post-soak testing while weighing farm-outs, joint ventures and other structures for its Taroom Trough assets.

Elixir Energy has made significant progress on the Warkon Pilot in Queensland’s Taroom Trough, completing key feasibility studies for pipeline infrastructure and upstream plant design that position the project for commercial gas production.
