Gateway Mining has secured firm commitments for a A$45 million placement, including A$20 million from Jupiter Asset Management, to fund an aggressive exploration campaign at its Yandal Gold Project. The raising follows a high-grade Cowza result and will issue 562.5 million new shares at a discount to market.

Golden Mile Resources says follow-up surface sampling has expanded the exposed Aurora gold anomaly in Arizona to at least 280 metres wide and 450 metres along strike. The results strengthen the case for drilling, although the prospect remains an early-stage, undrilled target with open boundaries.

The result strengthens the case for deeper follow-up drilling, although the mineralised system remains too broadly spaced to support a resource estimate.

Prodigy Gold’s check testing of 27 high-grade gold samples from Tanami North produced an almost exact match with the original Fire Assay results. The outcome supports PhotonAssay as a selective quality-control tool, but does not change the company’s mineral resource estimates.
