Gold Mountain has extended reconnaissance rare earth mineralisation at its Down Under Project in Brazil to at least 13 kilometres west of the Irajuba Exploration Target. The strongest result was 10 metres at 2,145 ppm TREO, including 2 metres at 4,607 ppm, but the data remains preliminary and metallurgical recovery is still untested.

Critica has produced high-purity mixed rare earth oxide and iron concentrate samples from its Jupiter project, giving potential counterparties physical products to evaluate. The milestone follows flowsheet improvements including stronger recovery, higher concentrate grades and lower sulphuric acid consumption, but commercial specifications and project economics remain unresolved.

Basin Energy has begun preliminary leachability and XRD studies at its Newmans rare earth discovery, with follow-up drilling assays due imminently. The early-stage program adds a recoverability test to a project already showing a 3.3 km mineralised corridor in northwest Queensland.

Power Minerals has outlined a maiden conceptual Exploration Target of 9.2 million to 10.7 million tonnes at Morro do Ferro in Brazil, grading 7.8% to 9.2% TREO. The result gives the ongoing drilling program a clearer target, but 43% of the upper estimate comes from an untested projected extension and nine recent holes remain unassayed.

Magnum Mining has completed a 10,000-metre auger programme at its Piracanjuba North ionic adsorption clay rare earths project in Brazil, shifting its focus to a 32.5km² plateau zone. The company is targeting a maiden JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate in November, but the project remains at an early exploration stage with no declared resource or reserve.

American Rare Earths has reported broad, near-surface rare earth mineralisation from the first six holes of its 2026 feasibility drilling program in Wyoming. The results are encouraging for geological continuity, but they cover only part of the program and do not yet represent a new resource estimate.

AuKing Mining has reported a 50-metre interval grading 2.03% TREO from surface at its Tundulu rare earths project in Malawi. The result, from drilling about 400 metres west of earlier holes, supports a broader near-surface mineralised footprint but remains exploration-stage evidence.

Arafura Rare Earths has extended a binding offtake agreement covering up to 500 tonnes a year of NdPr oxide from its Nolans Project. The deal adds multi-year sales coverage, but leaves the counterparty, pricing formula and financial value undisclosed.

Magnum Mining has completed more than 10,000 metres of drilling at its Piracanjuba North rare earths project in Brazil and is shifting its main effort to the 32.5km² Plateau Zone. A further 2,000-metre diamond drilling phase will run alongside independent resource, radiological and metallurgical studies, although delayed assay turnaround creates a risk to the company’s November timetable.

Oceana Metals has more than doubled the confirmed rare earth mineralisation footprint at its Serra Negra project in Brazil to over 4.5 square kilometres. The result adds scale and several high-grade intervals, but 45 historical holes remain awaiting assays and true widths are not yet known.

Critica has produced a second high-grade mixed rare earth carbonate from its Jupiter project, closely matching the first product at 57.9% TREO. The latest laboratory result also carried higher magnet and heavy rare earth content, strengthening the case for further flowsheet development ahead of a scoping study.

Basin Energy has secured a three-year research collaboration with James Cook University to investigate improved extraction and recovery of heavy rare earths at its Sybella-Barkly project. The deal carries no cash payment, but JCU will own the resulting project intellectual property and data.
