Strong drilling results lifted several small miners, but some early gains faded when investors focused on cash needs and the lack of formal reserves.

Trek Metals has completed its maiden Phase 1 drilling campaign at Kuro, with 38 of 72 holes returning significant manganese and several high-grade shallow intersections. Phase 2 assays are now the next test of whether the system extends beyond the initial discovery area.

Avenira led the week after securing an offtake deal covering more than 80% of expected Wonarah phosphate output. Copper, gold and rare earths explorers also gained, while several companies raised cash to fund drilling or mine construction.
