Archer Materials has pinpointed a capillary blood collection method that matches venous samples in haemolysis levels, advancing its potassium Biosensor development towards integrated clinical testing.

Archer Materials has successfully demonstrated that its blood potassium Biochip can be fabricated on a silicon platform, matching clinical accuracy standards and accelerating its path to commercialisation.

Archer Materials has partnered with Belgium’s IMEC to develop a scalable, cost-effective potassium ion biosensor using silicon semiconductor technology, aiming to accelerate commercial production by late 2025.
