Sierra Nevada Gold has begun mobilising a five-rig, 25,000m exploration campaign at its As Safra Copper-Gold Project in Saudi Arabia. The program will test Central Copper’s resource potential while opening up more than 12km of broader discovery targets, with first assays expected in November 2026.

Kaoko Metals has expanded drilling at its Chalkos Copper-Silver Project to at least 15,000 metres after encouraging early observations at Otniel and a new surface copper discovery at Donkey Hill East. A second rig is now drilling Donkey Hill, while assays from the first two Otniel holes are expected within two to three weeks.

Sarytogan Graphite has confirmed copper mineralisation across the full 452.5-metre length of its third diamond hole at Ilksan in Kazakhstan. The result strengthens the porphyry interpretation, although the 0.063% copper average is notably below the two nearby holes.

QMines has reported a broad 44-metre copper intersection and high-grade zinc-lead-gold-silver mineralisation from six holes at Mt Chalmers. The results support ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study work, while a hole ending in copper mineralisation and upcoming barge drilling add further exploration interest.

Talonx Resources Limited (ASX:TXR) is positioning its portfolio around two distinct exploration propositions: a near-term maiden resource pathway at Viking’s Beaker 2 prospect and district-scale copper potential at Kihabe in Botswana. The September investor presentation largely repackages previously reported results, rather than announcing a new discovery or resource upgrade.

Alma Metals has intersected 383.8 metres at 0.25% copper from just 10.2 metres at its Briggs project, including a higher-grade 76.7-metre zone at 0.34%. The result supports the company’s effort to upgrade parts of the resource ahead of a pre-feasibility study, although the intersection remains a downhole measurement and ended in mineralisation.

Canterbury Resources has reported a broad copper-molybdenum intercept at Briggs while early core observations suggest its John Hill deposit may extend beyond the current resource boundary. The results support ongoing resource upgrades and feasibility work, but John Hill assays are still pending.

AusQuest has materially expanded its Cangallo copper-gold discovery in Peru, but the exploration push came with a larger loss, a sharp rise in cash outflows and an auditor warning that further funding is likely within 12 months. The company ended FY2026 with $6.35 million in cash after a $10 million placement.

DPM Metals has extended its Brevene Porphyry South discovery with long, high-grade gold-copper-molybdenum intercepts, including 716.6 metres at 3.30 g/t gold equivalent. Mineralisation now reaches the Chelopech mine concession and remains open in several directions and at depth.

White Cliff Minerals has reported broad, bornite-dominant mineralisation in the first-ever drilling at Bornite Hills, but laboratory assays are still weeks away. The discovery adds a new target to the Rae Copper Project, alongside a sediment-hosted copper horizon now traced across a much larger area.

Megado Minerals has returned a shallow copper-silver intersection from the first hole of its maiden drilling campaign in northern Spain, including 0.25 metres at 1.39% copper and 18g/t silver. Two further holes have been completed but remain unassayed, leaving the broader size and continuity of the mineralisation unresolved.

Prospect Resources has expanded drilling at Nyungu Central after returning a 27-metre copper intercept outside the existing resource, while maiden drilling at Sharamba confirms a new copper discovery. The results add momentum to Mumbezhi’s growth story, but most Phase 3 assays remain outstanding and no resource update has yet been made.
